INSIDE THE HAUS
The Haystack Haus is a well appointed coastal getaway in beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon. The home is located on a quiet street and is a quick walk to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and galleries. A two minute walk to neighborhood beach access takes you straight to the famous Haystack Rock. Relax in the cozy living room with your morning coffee and let the sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep at night.
King suite
The Master Suite is the entire upstairs loft and offers a king bed, lounge area, work space, yoga equipment, jetted tub in the bathroom, upper deck, and a peek of Haystack Rock. There is no door to the loft, but it is quite private as it is up a flight of stairs and is not visible from any of the downstairs rooms. With vaulted ceilings and tons of windows, it feels like a tree house! Please note that there is no stand up shower in the bathroom, but the jetted tub has a pull out shower head that can be used (European style).
KITCHEN
The kitchen is well appointed and outfitted with an induction stove top and oven, stainless steel appliances (fridge, dishwasher, microwave), a Burr grinder, Chemex coffee brewer, as well as a traditional coffee brewer. There is a slow cooker, rice cooker, blender, toaster, and plenty of tools for cooking and baking. The breakfast nook seats 4 and is located right off of the kitchen.
living
The living room is equipped with a pull out memory foam sofa bed. There is an Apple TV 4 with a Bose Sound Bar and access to Netfilx, Hulu, HBO Go, YouTubeTV, and movies are available to rent. There is a large deck for relaxing with outdoor string lighting and a covered dining table that seats 6.
QUEEN suite
The downstairs Queen Suite is airy and spacious with vaulted ceilings. It has an additional sofa bed, large closet, sliding doors to the deck, and a smaller closet with a washer and dryer. The bathroom features a rain shower head and river rock shower floor.

It’s walkable proximity to the beach and to Haystack Rock is unmatched as is the short distance to downtown Cannon Beach. Our family even participated in a Turkey Trot in nearby Seaside which was a quick few minutes drive.

The house is immaculately clean, beautifully designed, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. And the location! Tucked in the woods so you think you’re waking up in a treehouse, but just a short walk down what feels like a private staircase to Haystack Rock and the beautiful beaches beyond. The furnishings are stylish and comfortable—it’s easy to sleep in and relax. On one rainy afternoon, we lounged around the house, a fire in the wood stove and a board game on the couch, the pleasant sound of rain falling all around us, and time just evaporated. On sunny days, there’s never enough time to take in the outdoors, and we had drinks on the beautiful porch as many nights as we could. House rentals at the Oregon Coast have always seemed lacking to me—the coast itself is always the highlight. That is not the experience at Haystack Haus, where the combination of great design, generous amenities and incredible comfort was as much of an attraction. One that left me wanting to come back—soon!

My husband and I eloped in front of Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach and decided to stay here as opposed to one of the local hotels - and boy am I glad we made that decision! First, and I cannot stress this enough, the location is amazing!! The walk to Haystack Rock was super quick... I'm not sure you could find public parking any closer! And in the other direction you can walk into town and grab some coffee at Sleepy Monk or a beer at Pelican brewing. Second, the house itself is an absolute dream. The Haus has been so perfectly updated (the bathrooms, the bedrooms, the decor, etc.) everything felt like that perfect combination of luxurious and cozy at the same time. Last, Larissa is a super host for a reason!!! She coordinated with my sister to have some special surprises waiting for us at the Haus for our elopement, she was super quick to respond anytime I had a question during our visit, and she was so kind and accommodating throughout the entire process. We did not want to leave... seriously we were heartbroken when it was time to checkout. If you are thinking about visiting Cannon Beach, you won't find a better stay than the Haystack Haus!
